Standard nuts complete general threaded assemblies. Locking nuts help resist unintended rotation, coupling nuts join threaded products, weld and panel nuts create captive threads, and special profiles address access, security or installation requirements.

DIN 934 / ISO 4032 metric hex nuts with standard dimensions and Pieces or Kg ordering.

Do not ask buyers for standard nut length
For standard nut products, nut height and related dimensions are defined by the selected standard or fixed product profile. The inquiry therefore asks for thread diameter, pitch, material or property class, finish and quantity. Coupling Nuts are the exception because their overall length is commercially and technically relevant.

Overall length is mandatory and remains visible on every specification row.
Custom profiles
Use Other / Custom and remarks when a drawing or non-standard inspection requirement applies.
MATERIALS AND FINISHES
Match the nut to the mating thread
Nut material, property class, thread and finish must be compatible with the bolt, screw or threaded rod and the governing assembly specification. The inquiry builder keeps unusual requirements available through Other / Custom rather than forcing a near match.
Mild / carbon steel
Nut property classes 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 are available as inquiry options where applicable.
Stainless steel
SS304 and SS316 options are available without a separate finish selection.
Compatible finish
Approved zinc, zinc-nickel, zinc-flake, phosphate and HDG requirements can be recorded for steel products.
ASSEMBLY COMPLETION
Add mating hardware without rebuilding the inquiry
Depending on the selected nut, the inquiry builder can suggest compatible hex bolts, threaded rods, flat washers or spring washers of the same diameter and compatible finish. Recommendations remain optional and are added as separate technical lines for review.

Why is length not requested for most nuts?
Standard nut dimensions, including height, follow the selected standard or fixed product profile. Coupling Nuts are the approved exception because overall length is an essential selection.
Can Hex Nuts be requested in Pieces or Kg?
Yes. Hex Nuts support both Pieces and Kg. Other nut products are currently requested in Pieces only.
Can compatible bolts and washers be added?
Yes. Product-specific recommendations can add compatible bolts, threaded rods, flat washers or spring washers as separate inquiry lines.
