Custom-Length and Drawing-Based Studs
Custom-Length Studs support fully threaded, single-end, double-end and customer-defined configurations. The form reveals only the end-thread fields relevant to the selected configuration, while Custom Self-Clinching Studs retain the application and drawing information needed for a separate technical review.

THREAD CONFIGURATION

Fully threaded, single-end and double-end configurations require different information. Selecting the configuration controls whether End A, End B or no separate end-thread length fields appear, reducing incomplete or irrelevant entries.
Single-end threaded
Overall length plus the relevant threaded-end length.

Overall length plus independent End A and End B thread lengths.

Use remarks and the drawing reference for a non-standard arrangement.

CUSTOM CLINCHING
Keep application-defined profiles separate
Custom Self-Clinching Studs are reviewed from the panel application and drawing rather than inferred from the standard clinching range. Compatible nuts are not suggested automatically unless the buyer requests them in remarks.
MATERIAL AND INSPECTION
Record non-standard requirements explicitly
Use Other / Custom and remarks for special material, thread tolerance, coating thickness, inspection or marking requirements. The approved drawing and purchase specification remain the final authority.

Can the drawing be uploaded directly?
Not in version one. Enter the drawing reference, submit the RFQ, then email the drawing using the inquiry number.
Which end-thread fields will appear?
They follow the selected configuration: none for fully threaded, the relevant end for single-end, and both End A and End B for double-end studs.
Are matching nuts suggested for custom studs?
Not automatically. Request compatible nuts in remarks when they should be reviewed with the drawing-based product.
