Stud Bolts and Double-End Studs
Stud Bolts and Double-End Studs create headless threaded connections in equipment, piping, machinery and fabricated assemblies. Every line records nominal diameter, overall length, thread pitch, material or property class, finish and quantity; double-end products additionally capture the threaded length required at each end.

A standard stud line records the complete size and commercial specification. A Double-End Stud line also records End A and End B threaded lengths so unequal or application-specific thread engagement remains explicit.

MECHANICAL PROPERTIES
Apply the governing material and property specification
ISO 898-1 covers applicable carbon- and alloy-steel bolts, screws and studs with specified property classes, but it does not define every service requirement. The selected material specification, temperature range, corrosion requirement and approved drawing remain controlling.
MATCHING NUTS
Offer two compatible nuts per stud
The inquiry can suggest two matching nuts for every stud quantity using the selected diameter. Review thread pitch, material, property class and finish before adding the recommended nut lines.
DRAWINGS AND INSPECTION
Keep application requirements tied to the RFQ reference
Record any inspection requirement or drawing reference in remarks. Email the drawing after the inquiry number is issued so it can be matched to the itemized stud line.

What extra information is required for a Double-End Stud?
In addition to diameter and overall length, enter the required threaded length at End A and End B.
Are two nuts included automatically?
No. Two compatible nuts per stud are offered as optional recommendations and remain separate lines for review.
Can unequal end-thread lengths be specified?
Yes. End A and End B are independent fields in the Double-End Stud inquiry.
