Self-Clinching Studs create a captive male thread in suitable sheet or panel material. The approved inquiry keeps the head and clinching profile fixed by the selected product and asks for the details required to review installation compatibility: diameter, length, panel material, panel thickness, stud material, finish and quantity.

PANEL COMPATIBILITY
Panel material and thickness are mandatory
Clinching depends on the relationship between the stud profile and receiving panel. Record the panel material and thickness for every line; do not infer installation suitability from thread size alone.
HEAD PROFILE
Select standard or flush-head installation
Standard Self-Clinching Studs and Flush-Head Studs remain separate products. The flush-head configuration is selected when the installation-side surface requirement calls for that profile; no redundant head-style dropdown is shown inside either form.
THREAD AND FINISH
Keep the fixed profile and commercial selections distinct
The metric thread form is fixed for the standard product. Enter diameter and length, then select the approved material and finish. Use Other / Custom only when the requirement genuinely departs from the standard profile.
ASSEMBLY COMPLETION
Add one compatible nut when required
A matching nut can be suggested from the selected thread diameter. It remains optional because some assemblies use the stud directly with another threaded component or a customer-controlled hardware set.
