Spring, Serrated and Wedge-Lock Washers
Spring and locking washers are organized by profile so flat-section, square-section, serrated and paired wedge-lock requirements cannot be merged accidentally. Select the product specified for the joint, then record nominal size, material or hardness, finish and quantity as its own line.

PROFILE SELECTION
Do not substitute one locking profile for another
Split spring, serrated and wedge-lock products act through different geometries and must remain separate inquiry items. The governing assembly specification determines whether any locking washer is appropriate.
Square-section spring washer
DIN 7980 legacy specification retained only when explicitly required; confirm the current project requirement.
Serrated lock washer
External- and internal-tooth styles are separate selections; DIN 6798 requirements should be reconfirmed.
Wedge-lock washer set
Paired narrow or wide-series product supplied to the selected system or customer specification.
TECHNICAL CAUTION
Confirm legacy DIN references before ordering
DIN 127 and DIN 7980 are withdrawn standards. They remain recognizable procurement references, but the buyer should confirm the applicable current joint specification, washer geometry and acceptance requirement before the inquiry becomes an order.
MATERIAL AND FINISH
Keep spring material and coating requirements explicit
Select the approved spring-steel, through-hardened, stainless or customer-specified option for the chosen product. Record the finish separately and request the surface-treatment report when required by the purchase specification.

Are all locking washers interchangeable?
No. Split spring, serrated and wedge-lock products use different geometries and must be selected against the complete joint specification.
Why does the page flag DIN 127 and DIN 7980?
Those standards are withdrawn. They may still appear in legacy purchase descriptions, so the applicable current project requirement should be confirmed before ordering.
Can multiple locking profiles be requested together?
Yes. Add each profile and size as a separate RFQ line so its material, finish and quantity remain clear.
